Bullying
Hello everyone,
In this blog, I would like to talk about bullying, which is a very difficult topic because as we know the consequences of this can be very terrible, since the victims suffer all their lives, as these mistreatments can affect their physical, emotional, and mental health. Besides, they never forget the injustices they experienced or often do not bear them and decide to end their lives. I believe it is important to address this issue in order to eradicate it from our society.
In my case, when I was
going to study 3rd grade my mother changed my school (at that time I was 7
years old) and a group of girls started to tease me, but at least I didn't take
much importance and I didn't care what they told me because my mother
encouraged me, and only then could I have a strong mind, so it wasn't an
extreme case as seen in the news. From the first day I got there, everything
went wrong because unfortunately in that school there was a girl whose name was
the same as mine and I think it bothered her so much that from that moment on
she disliked me because to tell the truth, we were totally different both
physically and in the way of being because I was shy and she was outgoing.
That girl, with her group of friends, made fun of me because of my shoes, since at that time I had a problem with my feet and I had to wear orthopedic shoes. From time to time, my friends and I were also teased about the length of our skirts because they were below our knees (since that was required at school) and I was teased about other things too.
Bullying is a very sensitive and important issue that needs to be addressed. I believe that, in order to avoid these types of acts of violence and hatred, parents should educate their children with love and teach them to love themselves, to respect and help others and not to make fun of anyone. It is essential to create awareness and begin to educate children with solidarity and empathy so that when they socialize with others, they have a better coexistence.
I'm sorry to hear that you went through bad experiences in the past:( I consider that schools should be more alert about these things since many students are victims of "jokes" that are not jokes at all):( I really liked your post<3
