My paintings 🖼️​🎨​🖌️​

Hello everyone,

In today's blog, I will talk a little more about a hobby that I had told you I liked since I was a child, which is, painting. 🎨​🖌️​

I think since I was 4 years old, I liked to draw and paint because sometimes I used to paint the doors and walls with markers, that's why afterward, my mom bought me poster boards and paints. 😁​

(This was the first painting I made at age 4)


As I continued to do all this, my mom decided to take me to learn painting at "La casa de la cultura" when I was around 8 years old. In that place, I learned many things because I had a great teacher, who was very calm and explained very well, thanks to him I was able to know several techniques and I used quite a few materials such as temperas, acrylic and oil paints, soft and oil pastels, and so on.

(These two were some paintings I made when I started attending classes, I was ashamed to show them here ​😓​​ but it's necessary for you to realize that I didn't paint very nice before, I also don't know why I sometimes had the habit of not painting the arms to the drawings. ​😂​)

Sadly, I could no longer attend the classes due to a personal problem that arose at that time, so I only went there for 3 years. Then a few years later, when I returned to that place to resume classes, that painting teacher was no longer there and neither were the people and friends I had met before. Unfortunately, I didn't develop that skill well anymore, that’s why I'm not an expert at this, but from time to time I paint in other materials, some things I have painted are shoes, shirts, walls, wood, roof tiles, clay comals, etc. 

These are some pictures of the walls I painted in the Sunday school of a church. I must say that this experience was pleasant, but it was quite exhausting because it took me a week to paint it, even though sometimes my mom and brother helped me, and I remember there was even a night when we didn't sleep at all. 😫​











I just hope to continue and be able to improve, because painting is one of the things I enjoy doing. By the way, there were many more pictures I wanted to share, but I didn't want to bore you. ​😅​

    But what! the drawings in the church walls are so beautiful and cute, i'm impressed:0 and I love how you expend your painting skills not only to canvas or paper but also to walls, shirts, clay comals, shoes, wood (though, I would have loved to see what you did in this materials al well:"(. Storytelling festival

Hello everyone, In this last blog I will talk a little bit about my experience doing the storytelling festival. To be honest, before I did it, I was nervous because I was going to "act" and I'm bad at acting. Whenever I have to make a video, I always take a long time because I laugh or make a mistake while recording (Now I have enough material to make a video only of bloopers  😅 ). Despite the mistakes and all the takes I had to do, I liked this activity and I also really liked the result of the whole video. Another thing that kept me nervous was that the story my group and I had chosen was too long. Fortunately, we were able to change it to a shorter and more interesting one. Homemade garlic powder

  Hello everyone, In today's blog, I would like to share with you how I make my own garlic powder at home.  To be honest, cooking has become one of my hobbies since the pandemic began.  By watching videos and looking for recipes I have learned to make my own condiments and I consider that this benefits me a lot because doing it on my own, it is cheaper for me and at least I am aware that the garlic powder I am consuming is natural and has no other additives. By the way, for this recipe, all you need is garlic  and the help of the sun. 😂🌞 The first thing I do is peel the garlic. Then I cut them into thin slices, trying to make them of the same thickness. I place the garlic in trays and put them in a place where they receive the sun to dry. (This procedure can be done in the oven, but I will teach you the way I do it.
